Viktor Nyden is an Operating Principal and Head of RIG Builders at Red Iron Group.

Viktor leads the RIG Builders team, partnering closely with business leaders to develop and implement outcome-focused value-building initiatives across Tech Enablement, Go-To-Market (GTM) and Operational Excellence. These initiatives are focused on enhancing competitive differentiation, accelerating revenue growth, increasing revenue predictability, and optimizing operational efficiency to create lasting value.

Prior to joining Red Iron Group, Viktor was Executive Director of GTM Value Creation at Vista Equity Partners, where he worked closely with B2B SaaS leaders to build and implement value creation initiatives that aligned with investment objectives.

Prior to that, Viktor worked at McKinsey & Company, where he specialized in GTM and Commercial Excellence for B2B SaaS & Industrial companies, driving top-line revenue growth and improving commercial efficiency.

Viktor began his career at ABB Group as an R&D engineer, designing electric motors for trains. He quickly advanced to lead the development of ABB’s next-generation motors for high-speed trains and locomotives. Subsequently, he managed global cross-functional sales teams serving railway OEMs and operators. During his tenure at ABB, he lived and worked in Sweden, China, Switzerland, and South Africa.

Viktor holds an MSc in Electrical & Control Engineering from Chalmers Institute of Technology, including studies at the University of Minnesota, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
