Sam Potashnick is an Operating Vice President and Head of AI & Technology at Red Iron Group.

Sam is a member of the RIG Builders team and leads technology strategy, working closely with portfolio companies to design and implement scalable systems, automation, and AI-driven solutions that strengthen operational resilience and accelerate growth. His work spans enterprise system management, product ownership, and cross-functional team leadership, with a focus on driving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and enabling long-term value creation.

Prior to joining Red Iron Group, Sam was Associate Director of Applications & Automations at Deel, where he oversaw the strategic direction and management of all internal systems across Customer Experience, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success. At Deel, he also spearheaded AI and automation initiatives ranging from intelligent customer service platforms to enterprise-grade integrations that streamlined operations and improved client outcomes.

Earlier in his career, Sam held multiple leadership roles at Payoneer, where he advanced from Information Systems Engineer to Group Manager of Applications & Integrations. In these roles, he built and scaled internal and customer-facing solutions, established new business units for product-integrated customer apps, and drove enterprise-wide adoption of automation and AI capabilities.
