John Hawley is a Principal at Red Iron Group.

Previously, John worked at Volt Investment Holdings, a long duration investment firm where he sourced equity investments and drove operational improvements in founder-led businesses across the US and Europe. Prior to Volt, John was a Vice President at Summit Partners, where he led investments in founder-led consumer and financial services companies.

John has first-hand operations experience, having served as Chief of Staff at Capsule, a technology-enabled healthcare company. At Capsule, John sourced and integrated acquisitions, launched new geographies, and lead key leadership hires.

John started his career at Audax Group after earning an AB in economics from Middlebury College, where he was a member of the Rugby Team.
