
Ben Bisconti is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Red Iron Group.
Ben has spent over two decades investing in services and technology companies operating in industries spanning the economy. As a senior partner in a private equity firm and as a private investor, Ben has been directly involved with investments in over 35 small and medium size private companies, representing over $6 billion in realized and current value. He has advised on a wide range of value building initiatives, including organic growth strategies, acquisitions, product and service portfolio expansion, organizational growth, geographic expansion and go-to-market strategies.
The early part of Ben’s career was spent as investment banker, where he advised companies raising capital and pursuing mergers and acquisitions. He was a Managing Director and Global Group Head in the Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group and, before that, he was a Managing Director in the Technology Group at Robertson Stephens. In these roles, Ben advised companies that raised equity and debt capital and completed acquisitions with over $50 billion in total transaction volume.
Ben earned an AB from Harvard College in 1990 and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1994.
Ben currently is a board member for Charter Impact, Everline Coatings and Services, Graphite Financial Group, Hiline Services and 100% Chiropractic.
Ben is a Trustee of Eastside College Preparatory School. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of the Berkeley Endowment Management Company and the Board of Advisors for UCLA Anderson School of Management. Previously, Ben has served as a member of the Dean’s Leadership Council at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, the Advisory Board of the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Santa Clara University, the Board for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula, the Board of Trustees of The Phillips Brooks School where he was Board Chair, and the Board of Trustees at the Menlo School where he was Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee.
